HP 60 Ink Cartridge Information

The HP 60 inkjet cartridges (also HP 60xl) are part of the 20th anniversary line of Hewlett Packard inkjet printers. More than 30 printers have been released since spring 2008 that use the HP 60 or HP 60xl series inkjet cartridges, which are both technologically innovative and more environmentally friendly.

The HP 60xl (high capacity) allow you to print 3 times more black pages and 2 times more color pages, compared to the standard HP 60 cartridges. This is important for all small office or home office users (SOHO) because the “XL” cartridges significantly reduce the cost per printed page.

These ink cartridges utilize a new dual ink drop technology that allows for more precise color and smoother gradations by combining both small and large droplets of ink. This improvement will also use ink more efficiently.

More than 70 percent of each cartridge body (by weight) is recycled plastic, and most of the printers are energy star certified, so this series is environmentally friendly too!

HP 60 ink cartridges produce excellent quality prints, at a lower price per page compared to some other cartridge brands in the same class. The HP 60xl cartridges have received a perfect 4 star rating for ease of use and value.
